LAURA EVANS

Born in the valleys of South Wales, Laura’s love of country, roots and blues music started very early when she listened to old records by Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Bonnie Rait, Faith Hill & more. 

The welsh songstress is truly making her mark and rise in the country/blues world after her hugely successful release of her EP “Running Back To you" which went straight to Number One in the UK iTunes Blues chart. The single also entered the US Blues Chart, peaking at Number 43. Earning huge praise from BBC Radio Wales with all 4 singles landing on the Welsh A- LIST this year as well as being added to the popular Spotify editorial playlist ‘Nu-Blue’ & "Very Nearly Nashville" and Apple Music's "New In Country" with earned radio play on Planet Rock, Chris Country & Country Hits Radio. 

Laura is a perfect blend between Country and Blues, her song-writing skills emulate that of Miranda Lambert and vocals and production nod to Larkin Poe meets Carrie Underwood. After spending the last 7 years back & forth writing in LA and Nashville and on her last trip debuting at the Bluebird Café Laura has found her own sound and is of the new wave of British country-blues singer-songwriters
